The Town of Lancaster will be conducting snow removal operations beginning Saturday morning, 01/28/23, at 3AM and continuing through the early morning commute hours. During this time there will be men and equipment within the roadway. Please give them plenty of space to do their work and keep them safe.

Please take note of the recommended guidelines for snow removal, especially where near local waterways.   Beginning the week of January 16, 2023, contractors will be repairing damage to the Mechanic Street Covered Bridge caused during an incident this past July. Contractors will also be re-decking the surface of the bridge as a separate project. The bridge will be closed during this time with no vehicular or pedestrian traffic allowed. Please plan accordingly.
