Coos Economic Development Corporation is working to advance local workforce development programs targeted toward youth, in collaboration with Department of Education, ApprenticeshipNH, and White Mountains Regional High School. The first in a series of business workshops will be a webinar held on August 30th at 4pm. This webinar will educate our local businesses on the latest variety of financial incentives and reimbursable costs available to them when they choose to develop internship/work opportunities for our next generation. Even if you have participated in the Career Technical Education (CTE) program in the past you won’t want to miss this. To register for the webinar, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/397086234617.

Parking on both sides of Main Street between Dunkin Donuts and O'Reilly Auto Parts will be prohibited on Monday, 8/1, and Tuesday, 8/2, between the hours of 5AM and 5PM. This is to allow our Wastewater Department to safely continue their work maintaining our sewer lines in that area. Cones will be placed to remind people of this restriction. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
The Lancaster Community Broadband Committee is collecting information from Lancaster residents about their broadband service. As you know, high speed internet is now a necessity for school, work, and quality of life. The information gathered from this survey will allow us plan for effective internet access well into the future. State and federal funding for broadband is coming soon and will likely be awarded to towns that are ready. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Please take the Lancaster Community Broadband survey now and encourage your neighbors to do the same!
